Supported Accommodation

A community that cares, connects and empowers people experiencing homelessness

A supported accommodation program was piloted in Winter 2020 and operated again in 2021 for six months in a rented conference centre, 'The Lodge', in the beautiful Yarra Valley. The valuable learning gained from this time can now be shared with others in our network and has helped to place Stable One in a position of readiness for the next chapter in our story.

The Lodge catered for:

  • single men and women
  • 25+ years
  • no current alcohol and other drug issues
  • managed mental health
  • willing to engage with and contribute to the community.

“This place is a ‘hub’ for me to get the help I need and make decisions. It’s affordable and has enabled me to save. I’ve learned that not everyone is dodgy.” — Lodger
